Ek! Ek! Design, Inc. was born out of necessity. The necessity to become a creative force in developing unique, cutting edge characters for kids both young and old.

What began as birthday cards for friends and family quickly grew into a line of greeting cards for sale across the country. We launched as a licensor at the National Stationery show in May of 2004. Now our designs are being featured on notebooks and other Back to School products!

Ek! Ek! Design, Inc. was founded by veteran artist and children's product designer, Erik “Ek Ek” Sheets, in Feburary 2004. As a graduate of Pratt Institute and David Passalacqua's Windtree School of Drawing & Illustration, Erik has professionally designed children's products for the past 14 years. He received a nomination for Best New Toy of The Year by Parents Magazine for his original line of toys developed for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA, to promote children's awareness of coral reef conservation and endangered species preservation.
